Dear Members of Belmont Country Club,
As the crisp air gives way to warmer days, I €™m thrilled to announce that the golf season is quickly approaching us. Eric Smith and his crew worked hard during the winter months to give the members the best golf course in the area. To follow up on my last letter, the golf restoration should begin in the next 30-45 days, depending on the weather. While we understand this project might cause some temporary disruptions, we €™re confident it will be complete well in advance of the season €™s peak.
Thanks to the dedication of our members and staff, the fiscal year successfully concluded on February 29th,2024. This strong foundation positions us well for the upcoming season and future endeavors. I will get into greater detail at our annual meeting in June. The exact date and time will be announced in the coming months. This is your opportunity to get involved, discuss club matters, and participate in shaping the future of Belmont Country Club.
As we approach the 2024 season, the team is working hard to make operational improvements to enhance members €™ experience. This process has included two notable software improvements. The first is an upgraded tee time reservation software system called ForeTees. This upgrade will allow members to book tee times, register for events, and receive golf news. It is much more member-friendly than our current tee time booking software and also manages our tee sheet data more effectively. Members will be able to receive push notifications regarding weather delays and range closures from the golf staff.
Our second improvement is the integration of our website into a mobile app. This will allow members to view their statements, view the club €™s calendar of events, register for events, make dining reservations, access the member roster, and book tee/court times. Once our club app is finalized and published to the Apple app store or Google play store, members will be alerted and encouraged to download the app. This will be an efficient way for members to access their member portal on-the-go or at home.
